Knock Sensor - 2.0/2.4/2.4L Turbo

The knock sensor bolts into the side of the cylinder block in front of the starter under the intake manifold. See Fig 1.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the bolt holding the knock sensor
Remove sensor with electrical connector attached.
Disconnect electrical connector from knock sensor. See Fig 2.

Remove the knock sensor. See Fig 3.
