Installation-2.2L Diesel

- Clean all sealing surfaces.
- Position and install thermostat housing (2). Tighten bolts to 9 N.m (80 lbs.in.).NOTE: Inspect condition of all clamps and hoses, replace as necessary.
- Connect coolant hoses and by-pass hose.
- Connect coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Install generator. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Close coolant drain.
- Install engine cover.
- Connect negative battery cable.
- Fill coolant system to proper level with appropriate coolant mixture. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Start engine and inspect for leaks.
