Sensor-Engine Coolant Temp: Removal: Removal-2.0/2.4L: Turbo

1 - COOLANT OUTLET CONNECTOR

2 - ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Disconnect negative battery cable.
Partially drain cooling system below level of engine coolant temperature sensor (2).
Remove upper torque strut. Refer to STRUT-TORQUE .
Disconnect engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
Remove engine coolant temperature sensor (2).
