Headlamp Leveling Switch: Description
This Headlamp Leveling Switch is located in the accessory switch bezel, located on the instrument panel. The switch is the primary controller of the headlamp leveling system. The leveling switch has four settings 0-3, 0 being the highest aim, and 3 being the lowest aim headlight beam vertical setting
The headlamp leveling switch is used only on vehicles manufactured for certain markets where the headlamp leveling system is required. The headlamp leveling switch is integral to the accessory switch bezel on the instrument panel. Only the switch bezel and slider are visible on the outer surface of the switch bezel. The switch bezel is marked with the numbers "0," "1," "2," and "3", which indicates each of the four switch detent positions. Each higher number represents a lower aiming position of the headlamp beam relative to the road surface.
The headlamp leveling switch cannot be adjusted or repaired and, if damaged or inoperative, the entire switch bezel must be replaced. Refer to REMOVAL .
