Headlamp Leveling Motor (Export): Removal

- Remove headlamp unit. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Disconnect headlamp leveling motor electrical connector.
- Rotate leveling motor one quarter turn counterclockwise. This will free leveling motor housing from the headlamp unit.
- Pull leveling motor straight from headlamp unit. Significant force will be required to unsnap motor control arm from lens reflector.
- Remove leveling motor from headlamp unit.
NOTE:
The headlamp leveling motor control arm is snapped into the lens reflector mechanism very securely. Use a firm, steady pull to disengage motor arm from reflector.
