Diagnosis And Testing

NOTE:
Battery must be completely charged (12v) prior to testing. It may also be necessary to install battery charger on the vehicles electrical system when performing this test.
- Remove the front position lamp bulb and check for burned out condition. Replace bulb if necessary.
- If bulb appears OK, reinstall the bulb in its socket and rotate the left side multi-function switch one detent position and check for lamp operation. If lamp is still inoperative proceed to next step.
- Remove lamp bulb and check for power (12v) and ground connections in lamp socket. If power and/or ground connections are not present, trace wire until open or short is found. Refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS for a complete system schematic. Refer to the appropriate diagnostic information.
