Standard Procedure - Fog Lamp Unit Alignment
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Prepare an alignment screen (Refer to ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/HEADLAMP UNIT - STANDARD PROCEDURE) and read the Alignment Screen Preparation paragraph. Turn on the headlamp switch to the parking lamps only position and actuate the fog lamp switch. A properly aligned fog lamp will project a pattern on the alignment screen with the top of the cut-off line 10 cm (4 in.) below the fog lamp center line and straight ahead with the vehicle 25 feet from the alignment screen.
To adjust fog lamp unit, rotate the adjustment screw (1) (Fig 1) in the rear of the fog lamp unit to achieve the specified pattern position. See Fig 2. It will be necessary to remove the lower splash shield to do this.
