Shift Pressure Regulating Valve
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Dodge Magnum, 2006 Dodge Charger, and 2006 Chrysler 300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
| 1 - SHIFT PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE |
The shift pressure is determined by the shift pressure regulating solenoid valve and the shift pressure regulating valve (1). See Fig 1. In addition, pressure from the clutch K2 is also present at the annular surface of the shift pressure regulating valve. This reduces the shift pressure in 2nd gear.
