Possible Causes

Possible Causes 
ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM OPERATION
TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER PLUGGED
HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATIONS ACTIVATED

Always perform the 42RLE Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting Procedure before proceeding.  (Refer to TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE/AUTOMATIC - 42RLE - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
