Rear Wiper Motor - Wagon Only: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the rear wiper arm (3) (Refer to ELECTRICAL/WIPERS/WASHERS/WIPER ARMS - REMOVAL) .

  3. Remove the liftgate trim panel (Refer to BODY/DECKLID/HATCH/LIFTGATE/TAILGATE/TRIM PANEL - REMOVAL) .

  4. Remove the three mounting fasteners (1).

  5. Disconnect the electrical harness connector (5).
  6. Separate the wiper motor (3) from the liftgate.

  7. Inspect the wiper motor shaft to liftgate seal (1).
