Diagnostic Test

  1. 1)  TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION 

    Turn the ignition on.

    With the scan tool, record and erase DTC's

    Try to operate the Right Front Window up and down several times.

    Wait 30 seconds.

    With the scan tool, read DTC's.

    Does the scan tool display B1931 -RIGHT FRONT WINDOW POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT PERFORMANCE? 

    Yes 

    1. Replace the Window Regulator Module Assembly in accordance with service information.
    2. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - STANDARD PROCEDURE - BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1) , also see (STANDARD PROCEDURE - PCM/ECM/SKREEM PROGRAMMING) .

    No 

    1. Operate the window motor several times. With the scan tool, read DTC's. If this DTC appears, replace the Window Regulator Module Assembly in accordance with service information.
    2. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - STANDARD PROCEDURE - BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1) , also see (STANDARD PROCEDURE - PCM/ECM/SKREEM PROGRAMMING) .
