The power top switch is located in the instrument panel center stack (2) as an integral part of the accessory switch bezel.

The power top switch is a unit that transmits commands over the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus to the power window regulator module, (Refer to ELECTRICAL/POWER WINDOWS/WINDOW REGULATOR MODULE - DESCRIPTION) for additional information. The power top switch performs the following functions:

  1. Power top up (switch pushed upward)
  2. Power top down (switch pushed downward to the first position)
  3. Power top express down/all windows down (switch pushed downward to the second position and held in place)

The power top switch cannot be adjusted or repaired. If the switch is damaged or inoperative the accessory switch bezel must be replaced, (Refer to ELECTRICAL/POWER TOP/SWITCH - REMOVAL)  .
