System Status Mode

System display mode displays warnings and user interaction messages on the EVIC display (23). The driver can scroll to view multiple messages by using the STEP  button.

When the appropriate conditions exist, the EVIC displays the following messages:

  1. Turn Signal On (with a continuous warning chime)
  2. Left Front Turn Signal Lamp Out (with a single chime)
  3. Left Rear Turn Signal Lamp Out (with a single chime)
  4. Right Front Turn Signal Lamp Out (with a single chime)
  5. Right Rear Turn Signal Lamp Out (with a single chime)
  6. Personal Settings Not Available - Vehicle Not in Park (automatic transmissions) or vehicle in motion (manual transmissions)
  7. Left/Right Front Door Ajar (one or more, with a single chime if speed is above 1 mph)
  8. Left/Right Rear Door Ajar (one or more, with a single chime if speed is above 1 mph)
  9. Door (S) Ajar (with a single chime if vehicle is in motion)
  10. Trunk Ajar (with a single chime)
  11. Headlamps On/Lights On With Key Out Of Ignition.
