1.6/2.4L MODELS (Except Diesel & Turbo)

1 - SLAVE CYLINDER

The clutch slave cylinder (1) consists of a hydraulic piston and cylinder, seal and return spring. It is fastened to the transaxle bellhousing. The slave cylinder is connected to the clutch master cylinder hydraulic pipe, which is retained to the cylinder by a pair of retainer clips, and has a bleed port to facilitate the removal of air from the system. See Fig 1.

2.4L-equipped models utilize a separate mounting bracket (2).
