Clutch Disc And Pressure Plate: Removal: 1.6L

  1. Remove transaxle,
  2. Mark position of pressure plate on flywheel (1) with paint or a scriber for assembly reference. See Fig 1.
  3. Loosen and remove six pressure plate-to-flywheel bolts (4). Remove pressure plate (3) and clutch disc (2).

    3 - CRANKSHAFT FLANGE
  4. Remove eight flywheel-to-crankshaft bolts (2) and remove flywheel (1). See Fig 2.

    2 - LEVER
  5. Inspect release lever (2) and bearing (1). Replace as necessary. See Fig 3.(Refer to CLUTCH/CLUTCH RELEASE BEARING - REMOVAL) .
