Right Multi-Function Switch: Removal

NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) from the steering column to replace the left multi-function switch.
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.WARNING: Wait two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to discharge before servicing any airbag or steering column components.
- Remove both the upper and lower shrouds from the steering column. (Refer to SHROUD-UPPER and SHROUD-LOWER ).
- Remove the one screw (3) that secures the right multi-function switch (2) on the right side of the SCCM (1).
- Pull the switch (2) straight away from the SCCM (3) far enough to access the electrical connector (1) to disconnect it from the SCCM.
- Remove the switch (2) from the SCCM (3).
