Section 114 (Interior & Exterior (2 Of 2)): Interior: Visor-Sun: Removal

WARNING: All vehicles equipped with airbags must have a colored coded, five bullet point, airbag warning label applied to the sun visor. If replacement of a sun visor is required, make sure to install a new warning label.
NOTE: Convertible Model shown in illustration. Hardtop model similar.

  1. Disengage the sun visor (1) from the sun visor retainer (5).
  2. Remove the screw that secures the sun visor retainer to the windshield surround frame or roof panel (2) (depending on application) and remove the retainer.
  3. Remove the two screws (4) that secure the sun visor to the windshield surround frame or roof panel (depending on application).
  4. If equipped, disconnect the wire harness connector (3).
  5. Remove the sun visor from the vehicle.
