Knee Blocker Airbag

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

After a Knee Blocker Airbag has been deployed due to a collision, the following MUST  be replaced:

  1. Knee Blocker Airbag
  2. Knee Blocker Airbag Trim Cover
  3. Instrument Panel and Pad Assembly

All other airbag and vehicle components should be closely inspected following any airbag deployment, and should be replaced when visible damage is incurred.

WARNING: Do not connect the battery negative cable (Refer to ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING - AIRBAG SYSTEM)  . Personal injury or death may result if the system test is not performed first.
