Front Seat Belt And Retractor - Pt27: Installation

  1. Position retractor in vehicle.
  2. Install the one bolt (3) to the front seat belt retractor (2). Tighten bolt to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.).

  3. Connect the tensioner squib connector (1).

  4. Install the Lower Quarter Trim Panel.
  5. Install the upper turning loop retaining bolt (1). Tighten bolt to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.).
  6. Install the seat belt anchor bolt (2). Tighten bolt to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.).

  7. Route the seat belt within the seat belt web guide.
WARNING: Do not connect the battery negative cable (Refer to ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING - AIRBAG SYSTEM)  . Personal injury or death may result if the system test is not performed first.
