Valve - Proportioning: Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Dodge Magnum, 2006 Dodge Charger, and 2006 Chrysler 300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
A proportioning valve is used on each vehicle without antilock brakes. One valve is used for both rear brake hydraulic circuits. The proportioning valve is located in the junction block (Refer to BRAKES - BASE/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/JUNCTION BLOCK - DESCRIPTION) . The valve is not serviceable and must be replaced as part of the junction block.
