Left Axle Seal
NOTE:
Inboard (Left) axle seal replacement requires removal and disassembly of the axle assembly.
- Remove front axle assembly. See Differential and Driveline/Front Axle - Removal
- Drain axle lubricant by turning housing on its side and draining out of left output bore.
- Remove differential cover (5) and differential (3). Remove and discard o-ring seal.
- Using Remover 9664 and Slide Hammer C-637, remove left axle seal.
