Driver Seat

DESCRIPTION

The driver seat switch assembly includes up to eight separate switches ganged together in one compact switch assembly. The switch is located on the drivers front door trim panel. The driver seat switch assembly can provide up to six major resistive multiplexed inputs into the driver door module. The inputs can include memory set (3), memory recall (1 and 2), heated seat, power seat (4, 5 and 7), and foot pedal system requests (6), depending on how the vehicle is equipped. All inputs are hardwired resistive mux to the driver door module to decode axis direction or seat heat level.

The switch is secured to the back of the front door trim panel with four clips. The seat switch assembly cannot be adjusted or repaired. If one switch is damaged or inoperative, the entire seat switch assembly must be replaced.
