IPM-01-RADIO COMMUNICATION FAULT

For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical

- When Monitored:
Continuously.

- Set Condition:
The IPM does not receive a memory message from the Radio.





Diagnostic Test

1. ATTEMPT TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE RADIO
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, select ECU View.
Verify that the Radio is active on the bus.
Is the Radio active on the bus?

Yes

- Go To2

No

- Perform the No Response diagnostic procedure. Communications - Verbose Codes

2. CHECK FOR ADDITIONAL COMMUNICATION RELATED DTC'S
With the scan tool, select Network View and select Advanced.
Is there more than one module with active DTC's "Logged Against" the Radio?

Yes

- Replace/update the Radio.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.

No

- Replace/update the module that set this DTC.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test.
