Diagnostic Test
MEASURE LEFT DOOR SPEAKER CIRCUIT RESISTANCE




Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Power Amplifier harness connector.

NOTE: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.

Disconnect the Left Door Speaker harness connector.

NOTE: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.

Connect a jumper wire between cavity 1 and cavity 2 of inline harness connector C229.
Measure the resistance between cavity 8 (connector B) and cavity 18 (connector B) of the Power Amplifier harness connector.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?

Yes

- Replace the Power Amplifier. Amplifier - Removal.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test

No

- Repair the Amplified Left Door Speaker (+) or (-) circuit for an open.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test
