1266-00 BODY CONTROL MODULE INTERNAL FAILURE





When Monitored and Set Condition

- When Monitored: Continuous.
- Set Condition: If the Body Control Module (BCM) detects an internal malfunction, the DTC is set.

Diagnostic Test

1. FUSED B(+) CIRCUIT




Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the BCM C4 harness connector.

NOTE: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.

Measure the voltage of the Fused B(+) circuit at the BCM C4 harness connector.
Is the voltage above 10.0 volts?

Yes

- Replace the Body Control Module.Body Control Module - Removal.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test

No

- Repair the Fused B(+) circuit for an open.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test
