Diagnostic Test

1) POWER WINDOW SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND

Turn the ignition off.

Disconnect the BCM harness connector.

Disconnect the Left Power Window Switch harness connector.

NOTE: Check connector - Clean/repair as necessary.

Measure the resistance between ground and the Left Power Window Switch Sense circuit.

Is the resistance below 100k ohms?

Yes
1. Repair the Left Power Window Switch Sense circuit for a short to ground.
2. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
1. Replace the Left Power Window Switch. Refer to REMOVAL .
2. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
