Rear Bow Weatherstrips: Removal

NOTE: Move the rear bow up far enough to access the heated backlite wiring.
  1. Reach behind the rear bow (1), remove the plastic retainer, and separate the wiring (2) from the bow.

    CAUTION: The weatherstrip must be pulled from the bottom side first, or damage to the weatherstrip may result.
  2. Using a trim stick or other suitable device, carefully pry up the inner edge of the seal (1) from the bottom of the bow.

  3. Grasp the edge of the weatherstrip (1) and pull outward to remove the seal from the rear bow.
