NOTE: Perform this procedure when a new tonneau latch is being installed, or when the existing tonneau latch is being installed but was not marked during removal.
NOTE: The hydraulic system will automatically lose hydraulic pressure after approximately 10 minutes. To regain hydraulic pressure, press the convertible top switch once when the convertible top buzzer sounds.
  1. Position the convertible top to access the tonneau cover latch.
  2. Install the mounting bolts (1) loosely and move the latch (2) fully to one side, as indicated, so that the slots in the latch are touching the mounting bolts.
  3. Move the latch 3 mm (0.12 in.) in the opposite direction, and tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 in-lb).
  4. Test drive the vehicle and check for noises or rattles. If any are present, adjust the latch in 1 mm (0.04 in.) increments (in the direction of step  3) and retest until the noise is gone.
