Cooler-Automatic Transmission Oil: Installation: Turbo
NOTE:
When the transaxle cooler lines are removed from the rolled-groove type fittings at the cooler and transaxle, damage to the inner wall of hose will occur. To prevent potential leakage, the cooler hoses and clamps must be replaced.
- Replace automatic transmission cooler hoses and clamps.
- Connect hoses to cooler, (Refer to COOLING/TRANSMISSION - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
- Install transmission oil cooler and tighten screws to 8 N.m (70 in. lbs.).
- Install radiator closure panel center brace.
- Install upper radiator closure panel, (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/RADIATOR CROSSMEMBER - INSTALLATION) .
- Install grille, (Refer to BODY/EXTERIOR/GRILLE - INSTALLATION) .
- Start engine and check transmission fluid level. Adjust level as necessary.
