2 - REMOVER 8926

1. Remove differential side bearings. Set up Puller Set 5048 (1), with Remover 8926 (2). See Fig 1.

2. Using suitable socket and wrench, remove differential side bearing(s). See Fig 2.

   1 - BOLT (12)

   2 - RING GEAR

   3 - CASE

   4 - BEARING (2)

   5 - WASHER (2)

   6 - SIDE GEAR (2)

   7 - PINION GEAR (2)

   8 - WASHER (2)

   9 - PINION SHAFT

3. Remove pinion shaft (9), and remove all pinion gears (7), side gears (6), and thrust washers (8). See Fig 3.
4. Remove twelve (12) differential ring gear-to-case bolts (1). See Fig 3. Remove differential ring gear (2) from case.
