Install differential pinion and side gears with washers to case. Install pinion shaft. Pinion shaft is retained by ring gear.
Install differential ring gear. Install and torque twelve (12) ring gear-to-case bolts to 85 N.m (63 ft. lbs.).
Install differential to arbor press bed.
Press on differential side bearing(s) (3) using Installer 8953 (2) mounted onto Handle C-4171(1). Press until bearing bottoms on case. See Fig 1.
