Detent Plug: Installation

NOTE: Inspect detent plug for signs of wear or damage. If necessary, replace detent plugs with new upon installation.

1 - DETENT PLUG

Install detent plug (1) into case. See Fig 1.

2 - SOFT-TIPPED HAMMER

Using soft-tipped hammer (2) , drive detent plugs (1) into case until they bottom. See Fig 2.
Install transaxle assembly. (Refer to TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE/MANUAL - INSTALLATION)
