Oil Pump

- Assemble pump, using new parts as required. Install the inner rotor (3) with chamfer facing the cast iron oil pump cover (4).
- Prime oil pump before installation by filling rotor cavity with engine oil.
- Install cover and tighten fasteners (5) to 13 N.m (118 in. lbs.). See Fig 1.
