Oil Pan

1 - OIL FILTER
2 - DRAIN PLUG
  1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
  2. Drain engine oil (2) and remove oil filter (1).

    1 - RIGHT MOUNT BOLT ACCESS PLUG
    2 - FASCIA
    3 - SPLASH SHIELD
    4 - CRANKSHAFT BOLT ACCESS PLUG
  3. Remove accessory drive belt splash shield (3).
  4. Turbocharger Equipped Vehicles:   Remove turbocharger to charge air cooler hose assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .
  5. Turbocharger Equipped Vehicles:   Remove oil cooler connector bolt. DO NOT   disconnect coolant lines from oil cooler. Reposition oil cooler.

    1 - TRANSAXLE
    2 - STRUCTURAL COLLAR
    3 - OIL PAN
    4 - BENDING STRUT
  6. Remove structural collar (2). See REMOVAL .

    1 - NUT
    2 - PENCIL STRUT
    3 - NUT
    4 - FLAT WASHER
    5 - LOWER TORQUE STRUT
  7. Remove lower torque strut (5). Refer to REMOVAL .

    1 - OIL FILTER
    2 - OIL PAN GASKET
    3 - OIL PAN
    4 - ADAPTER GASKET
    5 - OIL FILTER ADAPTER
  8. Remove oil filter adapter (5) and gasket (4). See Fig 5.
  9. Remove oil pan (3) and gasket (2). See Fig 5.
  10. Clean oil pan and all gasket surfaces.
