Oil Pan

1 - SEALER LOCATIONS
  1. Apply Mopar® Engine RTV GEN II at the oil pump to engine block parting lines (1). See Fig 1.

    3 - OIL PAN
    4 - ADAPTER GASKET
    5 - OIL FILTER ADAPTER
  2. Install oil pan gasket (2) to the block.
  3. Install oil pan (3). Tighten screws to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
  4. Install oil filter adapter (5) and gasket (4). See Fig 2. Tighten screws to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
  5. Turbocharger Equipped Vehicles:  
    1. Replace oil cooler seal
    2. Lubricate seal and position oil cooler to oil filter adapter, aligning notch to tab
    3. Install oil cooler connector bolt. Torque connector bolt to 55 N.m (41 ft. lbs.).

  6. Install oil drain plug (2) and oil filter (1).

  7. Install structural collar (2). See INSTALLATION .

    1 - NUT
    2 - PENCIL STRUT
    3 - NUT
    4 - FLAT WASHER
    5 - LOWER TORQUE STRUT
  8. Install lower torque strut (5). Refer to INSTALLATION .
  9. Turbocharger Equipped Vehicles:   Install turbocharger to charge air cooler hose assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .

    4 - COOLANT PRESSURE CAP
  10. Lower vehicle and fill engine crankcase (1) with proper oil to correct level (3).
  11. Start engine and check for leaks.
