Stabilizer Bar Link

NOTE: Stabilizer bar link fasteners need to be tightened to specifications when the vehicle is at curb height.
  1. Install the stabilizer bar link (1), starting the bolt retaining the link to the frame rail. Do not tighten the bolt at this time. 
  2. Install the lower bolt and nut attaching the stabilizer bar link (1) to the stabilizer bar (2). Do not tighten the bolt and nut at this time.

  3. Install the tire and wheel assembly (1). Refer to INSTALLATION . Install and tighten wheel mounting nuts (3) to 135 N.m (100 ft. lbs.).
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Tighten the stabilizer bar link upper bolt and lower bolt to 65 N.m (48 ft. lbs.).
