Stabilizer Bar Cushion

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  2. Remove the bolts (3) securing the stabilizer bar cushion retainers (1) to the rear axle (2). Lift each retainer from the slot in the axle and allow the stabilizer bar hang by the links.

  3. To remove each cushion:
    • Bend back the crimp tab at the top of the retainer (4) which secures the two halves of the retainer together.
    • Remove the retainer halves (4).
    • Remove the cushion (3) from the bar utilizing the preformed slit in its side, peeling it off the stabilizer bar (2).
