Removal-1.6L SOHC

- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Raise vehicle on hoist.
- Remove belt splash shield (3).
1 - ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT TENSIONER FASTENERS 2 - ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT TENSIONER - Remove accessory drive belt. See REMOVAL .
- Remove fasteners (1) securing accessory drive belt tensioner (2) to timing chain cover. Remove accessory drive belt tensioner (2).
