Manifold Air Flow (MAF) Sensor: Removal

1 - AIR CLEANER TO TURBOCHARGER HOSE
2 - MAF SENSOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
3 - AIR CLEANER HOUSING
4 - MAF SENSOR
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect mass air flow (MAF) sensor (4) electrical connector. See Fig 1.
  3. Disconnect air cleaner to turbocharger hose (1). See Fig 1.
  4. Remove MAF (4) to air cleaner housing (3) retaining bolts and remove sensor. See Fig 1.
