Rear Seat: Removal: Convertible

1 - CHECK STRAP

2 - ATTACHING SCREW

Fold rear seats forward and remove screw (2) attaching check strap (1) on each side of vehicle.
Remove latch covers. (Refer to BODY/SEATS/REAR SEAT LATCH COVERS - REMOVAL) .

1 - LATCHING DEVISE
Fold seat back down and then roll forward to access rear seat latch latching devices (1).

1 - ROD
To disengage latching devise, rock latching devise rearward and install a rod (1) into the hole to support latching devise in the open position.

1 - LATCH(S)

With both latches (1) in the open position the seat may be removed.

1 - REAR FLOOR PAN

2 - REAR SEAT LATCH(S)

3 - ATTACHING BOLTS

Remove latches (2), if necessary. Remove attaching bolts (3) and remove latch (2).
