Front Seat Back Cover/Foam: Removal: Convertible

WARNING: Before servicing the seat back cover the airbag system must be disarmed. Failure to do so may result in accidental deployment of the airbag and possible personal injury. Refer to RESTRAINTS - SERVICE INFORMATION for service procedures.

Remove seat from vehicle. (Refer to BODY/SEATS/SEAT - REMOVAL) .
Remove headrest. (Refer to BODY/SEATS/HEADREST - REMOVAL) .

Remove headrest adjuster caps (2).

Remove seat back. (Refer to BODY/SEATS/SEAT BACK - REMOVAL) .

2 - SIDE AIRBAG PLASTIC COVER
Roll seat back cover to clear seat airbag plastic cover and remove cover.

1 - ATTACHING NUTS
Remove nuts (1) attaching seat airbag to seat back frame and move airbag module from the frame.

1 - SEAT BACK COVER

2 - AIRBAG SLEEVE
Remove seat airbag from the sleeve (2) in the seat back cover (1).

1 - HOOK AND LOOP

2 - HOG RINGS
Roll seat back cover upward to show hog rings (2). Cut hog rings to free cover.

Separate seat back cover and foam.
