Front Seat Back Cover - Without Front Seat Back Panel: Installation

WARNING: Before servicing the seat back cover the airbag system must be disarmed. Failure to do so may result in accidental deployment of the airbag and possible personal injury. Refer to RESTRAINTS - SERVICE INFORMATION for service procedures.

1 - VELCRO® STRIPS

1. Place seat back cover into position on the cushion and seat frame.
2. Roll seat back cover down to cushion and engage the Velcro® strips (1) using care not to leave any in the seat cover.

3. Install screw (2) attaching seat airbag plastic cover (1).

   3 - SEAT AIRBAG ATTACHING NUTS

4. Place seat airbag into sleeve in the seat back cover (1).
5. Install nuts attaching (3) seat airbag to seat back frame.

6. Pull cover (2) into position and install the push pins (1).

7. Pull the zipper down on each side front seat back cover (1) and place zip ends inside of seat back cover (2).

8. Engage seat back cover locking strip (2) across lower back cover.

9. Install seat armrest (1) and lumbar handle (3) if equipped.

10. Install seat armrest plug (2).

11. Install headrest adjuster caps. Align tab notch in the sleeve and pushing downward till it locks into position.

12. Install headrest (1).

13. Connect any electrical connectors and secure wire harness with wire ties under the seat cushion, if equipped.

14. Install two front side and two rear screws (1) attaching seat cushion (2).

15. Install front inner seat belt attaching (1) and inboard seat side shield screws (2).

16. Connect wire connectors, if equipped. Install seat back recliner handle/fold flat handle and front seat cushion shield.
17. Install front seat into vehicle.
