Splash Shield-Front Wheelhouse: Removal

NOTE: Right hand splash shield shown in illustration. Left hand similar.

  1. Hoist and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the front wheel from the side of the vehicle being serviced (Refer to TIRES/WHEELS - REMOVAL) .
  3. Remove the push-pin fasteners that secure the front wheelhouse splash shield (2) to the frame rail forward of suspension.
  4. Remove the push-pin fasteners that secure the front wheelhouse splash shield to frame rail rearward of suspension.
  5. Remove the screws that secure the front wheelhouse splash shield to the front fender (1) and remove the splash shield.
