Interior & Exterior (1 Of 2): DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate: Striker: Installation

1. Position the decklid striker (1) onto the decklid opening lower panel (3) and align the striker to the previously marked location.
2. Install the two retaining screws (1) that secure the striker to the lower panel. Tighten the screws to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
3. Verify decklid alignment and operation. The decklid should fit flush and have even gaps to adjacent body panels. Gap specifications are as follows:
   1. 7 mm (0.280 in.) to the fascia.
   2. 6 mm (0.240 in.) to the decklid header.
   3. 4 mm (0.160 in.) to the body side.
