Interior & Exterior (1 Of 2): DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate: Cylinder-Lock: Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Open the decklid (5).
3. Remove the decklid trim panel (Refer to BODY/DECKLID/PANEL-TRIM - REMOVAL)  .
4. Disconnect the lock cylinder wire lead from the decklid wire harness.
5. Disengage the retainer clip that secures the lock cylinder link (1) to the lock cylinder (3) and disconnect the link.
6. Disengage the retainer clip (2) that secures the lock cylinder to the decklid and remove the lock cylinder and gasket (4) from the decklid.
