Guide Pins-Front Brake Caliper: Removal
NOTE:
Before proceeding, (Refer to BRAKES - WARNING) (Refer to BRAKES - CAUTION)

- Raise and support the vehicle. (Refer to LUBRICATION & MAINTENANCE/HOISTING - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
- Remove the wheel mounting nuts (3), then the tire and wheel assembly.
1 - BRAKE HOSE 2 - ADAPTER MOUNTING BOLTS 3 - BANJO BOLT 4 - CALIPER GUIDE PIN BOLTS - Remove the two brake caliper guide pin bolts (4).
- Remove the brake caliper from the adapter. Hang the caliper out of the way using wire or a bungee cord. Use care not to overextend the brake hose (1) when doing this.
1 - PINS 2 - BOOTS - Remove the guide pins (1) and boots (2) from the adapter as shown in illustration.
