Center High Mounted Stop Lamp Unit - Pt27: Removal

Open hood.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Open decklid.
Remove the decklid trim panel. Refer to REMOVAL
Disconnect the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) Unit electrical connector. See Fig 1.

Remove the two retaining nuts to the CHMSL Unit. See Fig 2.

Remove CHMSL Unit from decklid.
