Headliner-Folding Top: Removal

- Position the folding convertible top to allow access to the convertible top front header.
- Remove the twelve screws (1) that secure the canopy cover to the front header.
- Remove the canopy cover adhesive tape from the front header edges and remove the cover from the header.

- Remove the tension from the tension cable (1) and disengage the cable from the spring (2).

- Remove the three clips (1) that secure the tension cable (2) to each side of the canopy cover and fold the cover back to the B-bow.

- Remove the nine screws that secure the headliner to the front header (1).
- Remove the five screws from each bow strip (5, 6 and 7).
- Remove the headliner attachments (elastic straps) from the convertible top frame.
- Remove C-post flaps from the C-post stamping (2) (two rivets per side).
- Remove the screws that secure the headliner to the floating bow (3).
- Remove the headliner extrusion profile from the backlite frame (Refer to BODY/CONVERTIBLE TOP/REAR WINDOW - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the five screws from the edge bow strip (4) and remove the headliner.
