Headliner-Folding Top: Installation

NOTE: Position the cover onto the frame at the same time as the headliner.
  1. Position the headliner and install the five screws to the edge bow strip (4).
  2. Install the headliner extrusion profile to the backlite frame (Refer to BODY/CONVERTIBLE TOP/REAR WINDOW - INSTALLATION) .
  3. Install the screws that secure the headliner to the floating bow (3).
  4. Install the C-post flaps to the C-post stamping (2) and install two new rivets per side.
  5. Install the headliner attachments (elastic straps) to the folding top frame.
  6. Install the five screws to each bow strip (5, 6 and 7).
  7. Install the nine screws that secure the headliner to the front header.

  8. Reposition the canopy cover and install the three clips (1) that secure the tension cable (2) to each side of the canopy cover.

  9. Install the tension cable (1) onto the spring (2).

  10. Install the canopy cover adhesive tape to the front header edges.
  11. Install the twelve screws (1) that secure the canopy cover to front header.
  12. Operate the folding convertible top to ensure proper operation and fit.
