Cluster Lens: Removal

  1. Remove instrument cluster (Refer to ELECTRICAL/INSTRUMENT CLUSTER - REMOVAL) .
  2. Remove two screws retaining the mask/lens to the cluster housing. See Fig 1.

    1 - NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT
    2 - INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
    3 - INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MASK
    4 - INSTRUMENT CLUSTER LENS
  3. Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755) or equivalent, depress the retaining tabs along the edge of the cluster housing. See Fig 1, pulling up as you move around the perimeter.
  4. Pull the lens from the mask and cluster housing carefully.
